Invisible Risks: The Health Impacts of Indoor Air Quality

The American Lung Association's Invisible Risks: The Health Impacts of Indoor Air Quality course is a free one-hour training designed to aid healthcare professionals in identifying, screening, and treating patients at-risk for the health impacts of indoor air pollution.
This course will teach participants to:
- Determine which patients are at most risk for poor IAQ
- Identify health risks of commonly occurring indoor air pollutants
- Assess patients for exposure to IAQ pollutants
This course will introduce an indoor air quality toolkit that provides an Indoor Air Quality Action Plan, videos, fact sheets, decision support tools, and patient education tools.
This activity provides continuing education credit for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and nurse practitioners. A statement of participation is available to other attendees. This continuing education activity is provided by AffinityCE and American Lung Association. This program has been approved for Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE) credit by the American Association for Respiratory Care.
