Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) Basics
The American Lung Association's Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) Basics course is a free, interactive learning module designed to help individuals understand pulmonary hypertension and its subtype, pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). This course is ideal for individuals living with PH or PAH, their caregivers, friends and family members, as well as frontline healthcare professionals who want to learn more about these conditions.
The program is divided into two 15-minute modules:
Introduction to PH teaches participants about what PH is, offers guidance on recognizing and tracking new or worsening symptoms and provides tools for working with your healthcare team to best manage this disease.
Living Well with PAH explains treatment options, emphasizes the importance of managing PAH and shares available support options for those living with PAH and their caregivers.
PH Basics includes a comprehensive tool kit with videos to better understand PH and its subtype and downloadable resources to help better manage your disease.
