The Asthma Spotlights will equip individuals with skills to better manage asthma. These spotlights extend past our general courses Asthma Basics and Breathe Well, Live Well® Plus. We currently offer an interactive storybook for young children. Stay tuned for more spotlights!

The American Lung Association's Asthma Superheroes is a free 15-minute interactive online learning course designed to help kids learn more about asthma. This course is ideal for school nurses, teachers, parents/family of children with asthma, community health workers, and other healthcare professionals working with kids, to complete with children who have asthma.

This program will teach children/kids to:

• Understand what the lungs do and what asthma is
• Recognize and manage triggers
• Get help from an adult when they (or another child) are experiencing breathing issues due to asthma

Asthma Superheroes also includes an activity guide with coloring pages and activities for kids that can be downloaded at the end of the course.
