Purpose: The purpose of the Lung Cancer Support Group is to improve the quality of life and functional status for support group members by providing education and emotional connection to reduce the health, economic and social burden of lung cancer. Through the course, learners will be equipped with the necessary tools to plan, conduct and evaluate a lung cancer support group.
Target Audience: This course is for caring healthcare professionals or individuals within the healthcare field: physicians, nurses or other staff members, licensed clinical mental health professionals, or health educators with interest or experience working in lung health.
